School Counselor Paid Internship

Marin Wellness Counseling is hiring for a school counseling paid internship position starting January-June 2023.  The position will be 2-3 days at a school in Marin County providing individual and group therapy.  Weekly group supervision and bi monthly training will be provided at our office in Corte Madera on Fridays.  This is a great opportunity to earn hours and receive excellent supervision.  We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in learning to provide play therapy and a desire to work with adolescents and elementary kids. 

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Counseling
• A strong desire to work with children and adolescents
• Ability to collaborate well with parents, teachers and school administration
• Available 2-3 days a week from 8-2:30 pm and Fridays from 9:00-1:30 for group supervision and trainings
