Have you been working hard and trying everything you can think of, but things just are not changing. Sometimes it feels like it is getting worse. You might be thinking “Why? Am I doing something wrong?  Is it just me? Why aren’t things getting better?”

Help With Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Stress and More

It can be difficult reaching out for help, you may not want those closest to you to know how much you struggle, and after all will anyone even understand where you’re coming from. Maybe you or someone you know struggles with substance abuse, depression or self-harm. Maybe your kids, teens or partner is a source of stress and anxiety for you. You want to approach things differently, but you’re not sure how.

You are here because you are ready to try something else – something new, to get the support you need to lighten your load. You have a tremendous amount of strength already and are ready to remove some of the obstacles in your path.

I’m a therapist in Marin County to help others find joy again.

I began the practice of psychotherapy to give people support to explore what they want in their lives and what behaviors and risks bring the most reward. I focus on the tremendous strengths people have and remind clients that feeling good isn’t about having the answers or appearing like you “have it together”. Happiness is about embracing the humanity and beauty that is inside all of us and finding unique gifts and inner strength.  I use a variety of techniques that are person centered. They include CBT, DBT and psycho dynamic behavioral strength based therapies. I focus on people’s resilience, strengths and intuition with an emphasis on the mind body connection and self-care.

You will continue to have challenging/painful moments in life and relationships and I hope to help you tap into the strength and individuality that can carry you through difficult times with integrity and self-care.

I have been working with children, teens, families and Individuals for over 10 years. I have counseled people going through the most difficult moments in life to celebrating their successes. I speak both English and Spanish.

I am both direct and compassionate and I truly enjoy the therapeutic process. I have seen therapy greatly improve interpersonal relationships and the way one relates to themselves. Therapy is a unique relationship where a person can truly be seen and held with deep care and respect.
