Benjamin Knipe, PsyD Assessment Psychologist

Benjamin has over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in various roles. He has expertise in managing ADHD, psychotherapy for anxiety, and addressing child behavioral issues with both individuals and parent-child dyads. Has extensive experience in psychological assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. Has worked at WestCoast Children’s Clinic focusing primarily on helping children in foster care heal from the trauma and injustice they had suffered.
I believe that people are highly adaptive: each of us is always adapting to our past and current experiences to try to be the best we can be. Sometimes we discover that the coping strategies we have learned in the past are not working anymore. Sometimes life circumstances change and ask us to adapt more quickly than we are ready to do on our own. Sometimes there are mis-matches between a youth’s temperament and their environment. If you are looking for assistance to grow and adapt as a parent or help your child grow and adapt, I can help. I currently offer collaborative psychotherapy and parent support in-person and via Telehealth.
