Teen, Adult and Couples Therapist in Marin County
Unfortunately, stress, anxiety, difficult relations and isolation are rampant in today’s world. I want to commend you for researching and taking the hard step to reach out for extra support, as I know how daunting this process can be. Focusing on our mental health is the foundation for a more empowering, balanced and enjoyable life. I create a warm and safe environment for my clients to express their true selves and explore the parts of life that can seem impossible to work through.
It is such an honor to work with my clients to unlock their strengths and internal resources that can create powerful shifts. I am committed to helping you create lasting change in your life.
I provide individual counseling to adults, adolescents and children. I have worked with adolescents and parents within school systems and have expertise helping clients through severe anxiety, depression, family conflict and building stronger interpersonal relationships. I have completed my yoga teacher training, and incorporate mindfulness, meditation and present body awareness practices into my sessions.
I support couples through the building of compassion for each other, better communication and ways to express your needs to your partner in a safe empathetic space. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in working with couples to help them feel more connected. EFT approach is based on the premise that human emotions are connected to human needs, and therefore emotions have an innately adaptive potential that, if activated and worked through, can help people change problematic emotional states and interpersonal relationships.
